To compensate for the Carbon credit , World Waternet has made available a budget for a reforestation. FasoKoom in collaboration with the Association Afrique Solidaire have implemented this reforestation this morning activity at the school Wendi Guette of Boassa in the 7th district of Ouagadougou. This reforestation activity, called 3E reforestation (Environmental Education in Schools) has several objectives. Firstly, through sensitization of parents, teachers and students, it strengthens the commitment of actors for the protection of the environment. Secondly, it allows the students to be at the heart of the action because they are the ones who plant and maintain the trees and thirdly, these trees are well protected with slate grids (to allow the students to measure and note the evolution of the trees over time) and recycled tires. A monitoring group has been set up to enable a considerable success rate of this action.
