World Waternet (WWn) has signed a partnership agreement with the Institut de Recherche en Sciences Appliquées et de la Technologie (IRSAT) for the implementation of phytoremediation technology on the artisanal gold mining site of Nimbrogo in the commune of Ziou. This partnership was signed as part of the implementation of activities under Component 2 (soil regeneration, water quality and retention capacity) of the Water, KEY to Sustainable Development Project (ECDD). This project is implemented by the consortium Dutch Development Organization (SNV) and World Waternet (WWn) under the funding of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
